My lines come out shaky no matter how steady my hand is
Why this happens
Every hand has micro-tremor. Procreate records every tiny movement unless you configure it not to. This is a settings problem, not a skill problem.
FIX IT NOW
- Tap and hold any brush in your library — Brush Studio opens
- Tap Stabilisation in the left column menu
- Set StreamLine to 60–75%. Below 60% you'll still feel the tremor. Above 80% the line starts lagging noticeably behind your stroke — it feels like drawing through resistance
- Tap Done → draw one test line
- If it feels right: swipe left on the brush in the library → Duplicate → rename it "brushname + SL" so the original stays unchanged
NOTE
StreamLine smooths the path of the stroke. It doesn't affect pressure variation — thick/thin lines still respond to how hard you press.
