The mood came out completely wrong — cold, dead, not what I imagined

FIX IT NOW

1. Create a new layer at the very top. Set to Color blend mode
2. Pick the color of the mood you wanted — warm orange for golden hour, dusty rose for soft/dreamy, deep blue for night, pale yellow for morning light
3. Fill the entire layer with that color. Drop opacity to 15–25%. This shifts the color temperature of everything underneath without changing values or detail
4. If the piece feels dead rather than wrong in color — flat with no energy: the problem is contrast. Create a Curves adjustment: Adjustments → Curves → pull the top-right point (highlights) slightly up, pull the bottom-left point (shadows) slightly down. Increasing the contrast range brings the energy back
