I got carried away with colors and now the whole piece looks ruined
FIX IT NOW
- Adjustments โ Hue, Saturation, Brightness โ drag Saturation to zero. You're now looking at grayscale. Do the values make sense โ can you see distinct lights and darks? If yes: it's a color problem, not a structural one. Completely fixable
- Drag Saturation back to where it was, then reduce it by 20โ30%. Oversaturation is the single most common reason digital art looks garish or cheap
- Move the Hue slider slowly โ 5 degrees left, then 5 degrees right. Sometimes a small shift unifies a broken palette instantly
- If specific colors are wrong but the rest is fine: use the Automatic Selection tool to select just that color area โ Adjustments โ Hue/Saturation/Brightness on the selection only
