My lines look like heavy coloring-book outlines — too harsh and rigid

FIX IT NOW

1. Find your lineart layer. Tap N → Opacity → reduce to 70–80%. Immediately less harsh without touching the actual lines
2. Change the blend mode of the lineart layer from Normal to Multiply. The line now interacts with the color underneath instead of sitting on top of it — it integrates instead of floating
3. On a new layer above the lineart, paint over the harshest lines with the local color of the area at 30–40% opacity. This selectively breaks the uniform weight and makes it look painted rather than outlined
4. For lines that are too thick in specific spots: Adjustments → Liquify → Push mode → large soft brush at low pressure → gently push the line edges inward
